Woodbridge AJGA Junior Tournament

Dear Local Supporter;

Like you, Woodbridge Golf & Country Club is pleased and happy to share and participate in local events and happenings that shine a positive light on our amazing community. The recognition Lodi receives in the wine community and press is encouraging and stands to benefit all local businesses. In that vein, the Club is pleased to provide you with an opportunity to shine a new light on the community as a growing area of professional golf.

On August 20-22, Woodbridge Golf & Country Club will host its first national golf tournament – the Woodbridge American Junior Golf Association Tournament. The AJGA is a well-respected organization in the golf world, and is known for cultivating and growing today’s junior golfers into tomorrow’s golf professionals. Just a few of AJGA’s alumni include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel, Inbee Park, Lexi Thompson, Stacy Lewis and Alison Lee.

In other words, tomorrow’s Jordan Spieths and Lexi Thompsons will very likely be playing in our very own backyard in August. And nearly 200 of their family members will be visiting and staying in Lodi, quite possibly experiencing our town for the first time.

The Woodbridge AJGA Tournament is not only meant to showcase our amazing community to the 80 players and their families who will be visiting and staying in our area all week, but will also highlight the area on a national level through the media covering this tournament. All AJGA tournaments are also meant to raise scholarship funding for these talented future golf stars. Tiger Woods said it best: “The AJGA provided an opportunity for me to mature and develop as a golfer and as a person. Many of the friends I made through the AJGA are now competing with me on this PGA Tour. The quality of competition the AJGA offers is the best in the world.”

This is where you and your business come in. We are seeking the support from local businesses and community leaders such as you as tournament sponsors. All donations are tax deductible, as the AJGA is a 501c(3) entity (Federal ID: 58-1433914). Please take a moment to look at our tournament donation needs and sponsorship opportunities.

Thank you for any support you can provide.
