Weekend Breakfast at Woodbridge: Two New Favorites Worth Waking Up For

There’s a certain kind of Saturday morning that feels like a reset button—slow coffee, a little sunshine, and a breakfast that doesn’t come from a drive-thru bag.

At Woodbridge Golf & Country Club, weekend breakfast is one of those small rituals our members look forward to: a cozy dining room, the hum of families settling in, and the kind of menu that makes you linger a little longer.

This month, our culinary team added two new breakfast dishes to the weekend lineup—both created in a friendly in-house cook-off where our line cooks and Executive Chef brought their best ideas to the table. The results? Two standout plates that feel equal parts comfort and “wow.”

The Waffle Breakfast Sandwich

Think: the sweet-and-savory breakfast you’d order on vacation.

It stacks sausage, crispy bacon, over-easy eggs, and American cheese, finished with a maple bourbon sauce, all tucked between fluffy waffles. It’s bold, indulgent, and absolutely meant for a weekend morning.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes

If you’re more of a bright, fresh breakfast person, this one’s for you.

These pancakes are light and fluffy, layered with a lemon ricotta cream, and served with blueberry maple syrup. It’s the kind of dish that tastes like spring—even when it’s still winter outside.
