Cart Etiquette

  • A maximum of two persons in a cart. No person shall be permitted to ride on the rear or the front of a cart. However, young children 5 & Over are allowed to ride between two adults.
  • Drivers of carts must be 16 years of age or older and must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Carts must be kept a minimum of 40 yds away from greens & tees unless they are on a cart path. Carts must remain on the paths near tees & greens and are not allowed to cross over curbing.
  • Members granted handicap flags must keep carts a minimum of 20 yds away of greens.
  • Hand carts must be kept off of collars & greens. No one is allowed to sit in a motorized cart while pulling a hand cart.
  • The golf course superintendent has 100% authority in determining cart usage during inclement weather. “Cart Path Only Days” means the carts must remain on the path at all times. “Rough Only” means that carts may be driven in the rough, but not in the fairways.
  • Common sense is essential in avoiding wet areas.
  • Carts are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tournaments have first-priority for required golf carts. The lease program does not guarantee that carts are always available.
  • Any problems with the club-owned carts should be reported to the Pro Shop.
