Pool Facility Policies

1. Diving Board Usage: #

  • Only individuals who have demonstrated proficient swimming skills and diving ability are allowed to use the diving board.
  • One person at a time is permitted on the diving board.
  • No running or horseplay on the diving board or surrounding area.
  • Diving is allowed only in designated areas.
  • Please refrain from diving into the pool at the same time. Wait until the diving area is clear before diving in yourself.

2. Guest Check-in Policy: #

  • Members are required to check-in at the fitness center reception before accessing the pool.
  • Members must specify if they are bringing a guest. Failure to specify will result in a $15 GUEST FEE charged to their account for each guest they bring in.

3. Lifeguards: #

  • Lifeguards are present during all operational hours of the pool.
  • Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing pool rules, monitoring swimmers, and responding to emergencies.
  • Swimmers must adhere to lifeguard instructions at all times.
  • In the absence of a lifeguard, swimming is prohibited.

4. Safety Equipment: #

  • Life-saving equipment, including life rings, reaching poles, and first aid kits, are readily accessible and maintained in good condition.
  • Emergency phone numbers and pool rules are posted prominently.
  • Non-swimmers and weak swimmers are required to wear appropriate flotation devices.
  • Proper attire must be worn at all times. No street clothes allowed in the pool.

5. Supervision of Minors: #

  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Guardians are responsible for the supervision and behavior of children under their care.
  • Parents or guardians should actively monitor their children’s swimming activities and whereabouts.

6. Health and Hygiene: #

  • Individuals with contagious illnesses, open wounds, or infections are prohibited from entering the pool.
  • Showering before entering the pool is mandatory.
  • No food, drinks, or chewing gum allowed in the pool area.
  • Diaper-changing facilities are available, and only swim diapers are permitted in the pool for infants and toddlers.

7. Pool Closure: #

  • The pool may be closed during private events, severe weather conditions, maintenance, or other safety concerns.
  • Closure announcements will be made via the facility’s communication channels.

8. Emergency Procedures: #

  • In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of lifeguards or pool staff.
  • If you witness an emergency, immediately notify lifeguards or call emergency services.
  • CPR and first aid procedures should only be administered by trained personnel.

9. Enforcement: #

  • Failure to comply with pool rules may result in expulsion from the facility.
  • Repeat violations may lead to suspension or revocation of pool privileges.

10. Acknowledgement of Risk: #

The use of the pool and its facilities carries inherent risks. Patrons acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for their actions.

11. Amendments: #

This policy may be updated or amended as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users. Any changes will be communicated to patrons in advance.

By utilizing the pool facilities, patrons agree to abide by the above rules and regulations. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
